Ingredients of Halal Pao Bun (Xialongpao / Bakpao)
- You need 12 tsp of flour.
- It's 1,5 tsp of yeast.
- You need 1 tsp of sugar.
- It's 1 pinch of salt.
- It's 1 cup of milk or you can replace it with water.
- It's 1/2 tsp of butter (i used salted butter insted of unsalted butter).
Halal Pao Bun (Xialongpao / Bakpao) instructions
- Mix yeast, sugar and 5 tbsp warm water, stir then set aside until bubble2 (yeast is actived).
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, milk and 1,5 tsp activated yeast then make dough until it's not sticky..
- Make small ball of dough.
- Cover dough with plastic wrap or clean. leave it for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes dough will be like in this picture.
- After 30 minutes, punch dough then fill it with chocolate or minced meat or etc then cover it again with wrap or clean. Then leave for 15 minutes.
- Steam pao in a steamer for 5 minutes.
- Serve it.
